Still alive

We are still alive here in the Palmer household, just been very busy. Here are some pictures I have missed putting up over the last 6 weeks or so.  I'll start today with "Spring"

Chris and I have spent, and will spend a lot of time in these two chairs watching the boys play.

Found some watches I like at swatch.com.  But Chris and I are on a very strict budget so no goodies for me right now.

Burgled.

Someone stole my purse today. Out of my car. That was parked in my garage.

I feel angry and violated. The boys and I were in the house for crying out loud. At least they only took my purse.

They charged $2000 before we realized the purse was gone. Sears, Home Depot, Office Depot and Lowe's. It's not like they were buying milk and bread to feed their hungry children. They also got about $300 in cash. Most of it birthday and Christmas money that I was saving for clothes. Guess I should have spent it sooner. The rest was approx $80 for Spring Break "fun money."

Officer Judy came and took a police report. Because our car was in the garage and not in the street it is a burglary and not a simple theft.

Still angry though. Makes me wish a was a vindictive person, and had the resources to hunt them down like in The Unit or.......something.  Wish I was like Chris and could just let it go.

I can't believe that someone stole my purse out of my car that was in my garage.

Petey

This is Petey. He is a 6 month old hound mix that was found wandering the GE plant with another dog. HART named him Sunshine but we call him Petey because when we first picked him up he would piddle every time he would get excited. He is a happy guy. Always. The piddling has stopped, thank goodness. He is a great dog. Wish we could keep him :)

come and gone

Meet Alona. She is an underweight St. Bernard that we fostered for less than 24 hours. She was a great dog but Buster was a little afraid of her and that led to some...shall we say problems...so we took her back to the vet where some of the animals stay until a foster can be found. It was lots of fun to have such a jowly dog around but I couldn't handle it on a regular basis.

miscellaneous 2

Ever since Stella arrived we have had to vacuum more than normal and every time we fill the canister with dirt and hair-YUCK
With three dogs I now need to fill the water bowl at least 2 times a day.

Miscellaneous 1

Aiden really loves to help, especially when it involves a hammer :)
Aiden loves to get puppets from the library, I cringe every time. So as soon as we get home the puppets get a bath. This one went from gray to this nice white and brown dog.
Zach is playing basketball. Only one game left. He is doing so well, making lots of rebounds and even made 2 shots last game.

Another new toy of Chris' a small, very small PC computer.

Sickie Boys

On President's Day the boys were supposed to have school but they were sick :( 

Aiden threw up, just once, thank goodness and was fine an hour later. 

Zach however had a fever all day and barely ate, poor boy.

Zach's Bink

This is the blanket Zach has slept with every night since he was a baby. I found it outside his door tonight. My little boy is growing up :(j

PS I took it into his room and tucked it into bed with him.......in case he decided he needed it.

What a day.

Chris can usually tell how my day was by how much chocolate I've eaten. This was a particularly rough day........
