Ever since Stella arrived we have had to vacuum more than normal and every time we fill the canister with dirt and hair-YUCK
With three dogs I now need to fill the water bowl at least 2 times a day.

Miscellaneous 1

Aiden really loves to help, especially when it involves a hammer :)
Aiden loves to get puppets from the library, I cringe every time. So as soon as we get home the puppets get a bath. This one went from gray to this nice white and brown dog.
Zach is playing basketball. Only one game left. He is doing so well, making lots of rebounds and even made 2 shots last game.

Another new toy of Chris' a small, very small PC computer.

Sickie Boys

On President's Day the boys were supposed to have school but they were sick :( 

Aiden threw up, just once, thank goodness and was fine an hour later. 

Zach however had a fever all day and barely ate, poor boy.

Zach's Bink

This is the blanket Zach has slept with every night since he was a baby. I found it outside his door tonight. My little boy is growing up :(j

PS I took it into his room and tucked it into bed with him.......in case he decided he needed it.

What a day.

Chris can usually tell how my day was by how much chocolate I've eaten. This was a particularly rough day........

OY!

I love Aiden very, very much. But sometimes I have to count to 100 before I can speak when I see things he's done.  This is one of those times. The pictures don't really do his handiwork justice. You see, around my birthday I started slowly buying Mary Kay products from a friend to fill a compact. My idea being two fold, I deserved nice make-up and it would be nice to be able to carry everything in a compact and bring it with me if I didn't have time in the morning. Well. Aiden also thought that it looked like fun and one day a few weeks ago when he was supposed to be napping this is what he did. Now my makeup is up very high in our closet. 

I know, from classes, that Aiden doesn't have the ability to apply rules when he needs to. He knows right from wrong but can't apply the principles when he is in situations. He just can't control his impulses. So there are days no matter how much I love him. Know matter how much I know about ADHD that I feel hopeless, I start to feel like it's always going to be this way, that we will always have to lock things up and keep things away from him and that always makes me sad for my little boy who just can't control himself.

Look what I can do!

While we were driving to Florida my mom was knitting a scarf, it looked so peaceful that I decided to try it myself.  I haven't knit a scarf yet but I have made some washcloths and a blanket for each boy's stuffed animals. My only obstacle is that I can only do one stitch so I'm thinking of taking a knitting class in Hamilton in March.....I guess I better decide soon.

Happy Birthday

Chris turned 35 on the 7th.

His presents. And yes I consider the TV to be one.
The boys gave him hot sauce and soda.
Dave and Linda (his parents) joined us from Maine for the festivities.
No cake for him, just ice cream and 3.5 candles :)

Stella

It's been a looooooooooooooong time.  I do realize this, so for your enjoyment there will be a new post every day over the next 7 days.  Yippee.

Meet Stella (Estelle). She joined our family on February 2nd. She is a foster and it is going to be so hard to let her go. She is such a good dog and her and Buster are best friends. She was very stressed at her first adoptathon on Valentine's Day but I'm hoping with time she gets better because she is such a sweet dog.

Buster ouchies

Well Sonny is gone. Not because he was adopted but because of this.......

He bit Buster twice. Leaving three distinct puncture marks. Buster is on antibiotics. Sonny is back at the vet. And we are breathing a sigh of relief that it wasn't one of our furless puppies that got bit. We will foster again but I'm thinking a small spayed female that Buster can eat if it gets too feisty :)
